The Babor Phyto-Active Hydro Base (also known as the Babor Phyto HY-ÖL Booster Hydrating) is the second step in the brand's signature bi-phase deep cleansing routine, designed specifically for and dehydrated skin. It is an invigorating, refreshing herbal extract that works in tandem with Babor's HY-ÖL Cleanser to provide a deep clean without causing tightness or stripping the skin of moisture.
The Babor Phyto-Active Hydro Base is used as the second step of the brand's bi-phase deep cleansing method, applied over the Babor HY-ÖL Cleanser to create a milky emulsion before rinsing off.
- Apply HY-ÖL: In the morning and evening, apply 4 pumps of Babor HY-ÖL Cleanser to dry skin on your face, neck, and décolleté and massage it in gently. Do not moisten your skin beforehand.
- Apply Phytoactive: Without rinsing the oil off, smooth 2 pumps of the Babor Phyto-Active Hydro Base directly on top of the HY-ÖL and work them into the skin.
- Emulsify: Moisten your fingertips with cool water and continue massaging in circular motions. The mixture will turn into a white, milky emulsion.
- Rinse: Rinse your face thoroughly with plenty of cool water.
