Over a Century of History in Woodsboro, MD
The Rosebud Perfume Company was founded in 1895. It's an example of the old-style business, kept in a family for generations and appears to be a throwback to a more Norman Rockwell-type America. Currently the company is run by two granddaughters of pharmacist George F. Smith, who invented the salve in 1892, their second cousin and her daughter. Rosebud Salve may be a classic, but the product has a distinctly modern buzz about it. Recently it has been touted in magazines including Glamour, Allure, Woman's Day and Self.
