Observing the full and pouty lips actors had following long kissing scenes, celebrity makeup artist Cristina Bartolucci was inspired to create a product that would mimic that same bee-stung effect.

Bartolucci cooked up everything - from cayenne pepper to mustard seed - that would super-size the pout. The end result, a cinnamon-spiked blend of essential oils, quickly became a breakthrough product: the cult favorite lip gloss, Lip Venom.
