Cake products have minimal to no excess or secondary packaging and all primary packaging is recyclable in the form of plastic bottles, caps, jars and paper canisters which may contain up to 30% PCW (post consumer waste).
There are several methods of manufacturing lotions and liquids. At Cake, about 80% of lotions are "cold processed" which means that manufactures are actually using far less energy to heat, cook and cool products, which in-turn reduces carbon output & energy consumption.
